Production Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated and people-focused Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and support a high-performing production team. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance while developing employees, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and company standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about building strong teams and achieving operational excellence.Job Title: Production Supervisor Reports To: Operations Manager FLSA Status: ExemptShift – Third shiftKey Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily production activities to meet operational, quality, safety, and cost targets.Develop, coach, and engage production employees to build a high-performing workforce.Foster positive employee relations and maintain compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, employment laws, and company policies.Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, ISO, ASME, customer, and other applicable standards and certifications.Conduct accident investigations and implement corrective actions.Manage attendance, timekeeping, PTO, training, and skill development programs.Utilize performance management processes to establish goals, provide feedback, and support employee development.Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular operational reports to leadership.Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, inclusion, and operational excellence.Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or related field with 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience; ORAssociate degree in a manufacturing-related field with 5+ years of supervisory experience, including experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment; OR5+ years of supervisory or lead experience in a heavy industrial manufacturingPreferred Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.Stainless steel tube manufacturing operations experience.Lean Manufacturing training or experience.Key Competencies Leadership and team developmentCommunication and employee engagementContinuous improvement and change managementPerformance management and accountabilityProblem-solving and sound decision-makingPlanning, organization, and executionCustomer focus and quality orientationIntegrity, professionalism, and teamworkPhysical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and use of hands.Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving equipment, temperature variations, noise, and other typical industrial conditions.Plymouth Tube is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and productive workplace.Equal Opportunity Employer: Disability/Veteran
