Details ICU (Intensive Care Unit) setting within an acute care hospital Combination of PCU and ICU patient care with a cardiac-heavy caseload including vasoactive drips and rhythm monitoring PCU is a designated stroke unit Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 in PCU, with lower ratios in ICU Uses MEDITECH EMR; prior experience highly preferred Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, every other weekend 36 hours guaranteed per week First to float to all units within the hospital Low census cancellation policy of 1 shift per 4 weeks; OT shifts may be cancelled at will Requirements Active MO or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS Knowledge of vasoactive drips and cardiac rhythm interpretation preferred MEDITECH EMR experience highly preferred Additional Information Provide critical care nursing across combined ICU and PCU patient populations Scrub color requirement: royal blue First-time travelers may be considered for this role American Traveler Job ID P-749769.
