Behind every solution is a group of experts who care deeply about impact—whether we're supporting data-driven decisions, modernizing systems or safeguarding critical programs.The Database ETL & Backend QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and reliability of enterprise data warehouse applications, ETL pipelines, and backend systems. The role involves validating data transformations, developing automated testing solutions, performing database testing, and ensuring accurate reporting across cloud-based data platforms. Working within an Agile Scrum team, the engineer will collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions.Perform ETL, backend database, and data testing.Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for data pipelines and backend applications.Validate source-to-target data transformations, business rules, and data quality using SQL.Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks for ETL, database, and regression testing using Python and SQL.Execute data validation, reconciliation, row count, aggregate, and data integrity testing.Validate cloud-based data platforms including AWS, Databricks, Redshift, Amazon S3, and RDS.Develop test plans based on business requirements and acceptance criteria.Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to support sprint planning, defect resolution, and release validation.Participate in system integration, regression, and performance testing.Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and recommend process improvements.QualificationsAssociates Degree or equivalent experience 4 Years experience3 years of Test Automation experienceExperience developing test plans through data driven testingExperience in ETL Testing, Backend Database Testing, and Data Validation.Strong SQL skills using Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redshift.Experience developing manual and automation testing solutions.Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, Databricks, and data warehouse environments.Healthcare domain experience is a plusExperience creating data-driven test plans and validating large datasets.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.RELI Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
