Shift Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front or Back of House Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a strong background in food service management. As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our drive-thru or kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. You will lead by example, fostering a positive work environment and supporting your team in delivering exceptional service.

Duties

• Oversee daily drive-thru, front counter or kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist in managing kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the drive-thru or kitchen area, including equipment and storage.
• Monitor food costs and assist in budgeting for the kitchen department.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a leadership role within a restaurant setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food management practices, including safety regulations.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively.
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing.
• Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant management is an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and customers effectively.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
