Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Renton, WA. Work Schedule: Flexible Schedule Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications Valid Washington-issued Phlebotomy License Preferred Qualifications 6 or more months of phlebotomy experience 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy Additional Job Standards In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Be at least 21 years of age or older Reliable transportation and clean driving record Valid Driver's License Flexibility to work overtime as needed Exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Pay Pay Range: $22.30 - $27.69 per hour Float Incentive: Additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
