Role Overview Vermont Mechanical is seeking a skilled Plumber / Pipefitter to join its growing team supporting projects across northwest Vermont and Clinton County, New York. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and industrial job sites, contributing to high-quality installations while collaborating with experienced professionals across multiple trades. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and is looking to continue developing their career in the plumbing and piping field. Lead or foreman experience is not required. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to support the layout and installation of plumbing and piping systems Install, assemble, and test plumbing and piping systems in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes Coordinate with other trades to ensure seamless system integration on job sites Assist with material and equipment planning to support efficient project execution Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members across job sites Support inspections and ensure all work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements Contribute to a safe, organized, and productive work environment Qualifications Vermont Plumbing License preferred (or ability to obtain); equivalent experience considered Experience in plumbing and/or pipefitting within commercial or industrial settings Medical Gas certification is a plus Familiarity with Natural Gas or Propane systems is beneficial Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel within northwest Vermont and Clinton County, NY OSHA 10 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team Solid communication skills and a dependable work ethic Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for ongoing training and professional development Supportive team environment with opportunities for long‑term career growth Invitation to Apply The Source and Recruit Company has been retained to assist Vermont Mechanical in the search for this position.
