Truck Driver CDL A Solo Regional

Position Description Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Burleson, TX. This role provides weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. Annual pay: $1,649 or more per week Paid weekly Hours per week: 40 or more Solo miles pay: $0.43 per mile (≈ 1,900 miles per week) Solo stops pay: $39.14 per stop (20‑22 stops per week) Paid training offered Schedule: Sunday – Saturday with 1‑2 days off per week Dispatch start time: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM Requirements Minimum 21 years of age Pass a Ryder drug test Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years Pass a DOT physical Pass a Ryder road test Provide a Class A CDL and required endorsements Class A tractor‑trailer experience: 9 months in the past 3 years, OR 2 years in the past 5 years, OR 5 years in the past 10 years Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures Responsibilities Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines Detect, eliminate or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer Perform other duties as assigned Benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance after 30 days 80 hours PTO in first year, starting day 1 (use it or get paid for it) Uniforms and boot allowance provided Driver as captain: you make safety decisions and your job is protected 401(k) rollover available immediately with company match at 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to eligibility criteria, including work tenure) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech and more Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance, and company drivers fuel at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.
