Express Employment Professionals - Brooklyn, NY is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join a reputable warehouse and distribution company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating forklifts efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and stacking materials within the warehouse. You'll ensure products are handled properly and stored accurately while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers
Move and organize materials within storage areas
Inspect forklifts daily and report maintenance or safety issues
Assist with inventory control and cycle counts
Follow all safety rules, procedures, and company policies

Requirements

Experience - 1+ year of recent forklift operation experience

Certification - Valid forklift certification (preferred)

Physical Requirements - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as needed

Skills - Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Reliability - Excellent attendance and time management

Commute - Must reside within a reasonable distance (60 minutes or less commute)
