Job Title: HVAC/R Service Technician Job Description
Join our team as an HVAC/R Service Technician where you will specialize in HVAC refrigeration, troubleshooting, and repair. You will work on various systems including package units, ice machines, chillers, and split systems while ensuring effective preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities

• Conduct HVAC refrigeration troubleshooting and repair.
• Maintain and service package units, ice machines, chillers, and split systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency.
• Handle refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot HVAC units and resolve any issues.
• Work on condensers and hot food equipment.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC/R service.
• Expertise in HVAC refrigeration and repair.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting HVAC units.
• EPA 608 Universal certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• F60 and G60 certifications are a major plus.
• Owning personal tools is beneficial.
• Experience with hot food equipment is advantageous.

Work Environment
Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, handling 3-5 service calls per day. Our service area extends from Manhattan to the Hamptons, with a focus on accommodating technicians from Suffolk County, Nassau, or Queens. Technicians will work in varied environments such as schools, retail spaces, offices, and high-rises.

This is a Permanent position based out of Westbury, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
