Facilities Manager

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a well-established nonprofit organization who is hiring a Facilities Manager to join their team! This is a direct hire opportunity offering a flexible schedule and a stable work environment for someone who enjoys a hands-on facilities role. Responsibilities Oversee the maintenance, safety, and daily operations of the buildings and grounds Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance such as replacing fixtures, changing valves, or troubleshooting small issues before calling vendors Manage vendor relationships and service contracts for HVAC, landscaping, fire alarm systems, and custodial services Maintain and manage the facilities maintenance budget Coordinate maintenance projects, building upgrades, and equipment procurement Serve as the primary contact for security monitoring companies and local agencies regarding building-related matters Ensure facilities remain safe, secure, and compliant with regulations Respond to emergency calls and be able to arrive on-site within 30 minutes if needed Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and facilities documentation Support internal teams with office moves, workspace adjustments, and facility-related needs Requirements Prior facilities management or building maintenance experience required Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform light maintenance tasks Experience coordinating and managing maintenance vendors and service contracts Familiarity with building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, and fire systems Ability to troubleshoot facility issues and identify preventative solutions Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities Proficiency with basic computer applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) Valid North Carolina driver’s license #J-18808-Ljbffr Accentuate Staffing
