Receiving Lead

Lead Operator / Receiving Clerk

We are seeking a motivated Lead Operator / Receiving Clerk to support daily manufacturing and warehouse operations. This role combines hands-on production leadership with inventory and receiving responsibilities, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency across the floor.

You'll play a key role in training team members, maintaining equipment, and managing incoming materials.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Production

• Lead, train, and support production associates
• Assist with machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting
• Fill in on production lines as needed
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and workflow

Receiving & Inventory

• Verify incoming shipments against packing lists and bills of lading
• Label, scan, and enter materials into IQMS
• Maintain accurate inventory and records
• Communicate discrepancies with planners

Quality & Safety

• Inspect parts and materials for quality standards
• Report issues to leadership promptly
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives

Administrative

• Complete production and inventory documentation
• Track scrap, rework, and daily production data
• Maintain organized records and reports

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of manufacturing and/or warehouse experience
• Leadership or team lead experience preferred
• Experience with ERP systems (IQMS a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions
