Observability Architect

Position: Infra architect Location: Remote Work ( Minneapolis)

Remote work initially, with the flexibility to transition to a hybrid work model in Minneapolis when required by the client

In this role, you will partner with Architecture, Product Management, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to assess current capabilities, define improved processes, and develop scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.

You will lead modernization efforts, help advance both data center and cloud strategies, and identify practical opportunities to leverage automation and AI enabled solutions to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and long-term scalability.

• Defines and drives the enterprise infrastructure architecture strategy, including current-state assessment and future-state roadmap
• Partners with Architecture and managed service providers to align standards, roadmaps, and execution with business and technology objectives
• Leads infrastructure modernization initiatives (cloud adoption, automation, simplification) to reduce complexity and improve scalability and performance
• Establishes and matures architecture governance, standards, and reference models to ensure consistency, resiliency, and security across environments
• Drives adoption of observability, reliability, and performance engineering practices to strengthen system health and operational outcomes
• Identifies and implements opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, AI, and automation to improve efficiency and service delivery
• Provides architectural oversight for major technology investments and decisions, ensuring alignment with cost, risk, scalability, and business value
• Serves as a trusted advisor and change leader, influencing cross-functional teams to adopt modern, integrated infrastructure practices
