Special Events ParamedicLifeLine Ambulance Illinois is seeking experienced and skilled Special Event Paramedics to join our team. As a Special Event Paramedic with LifeLine, you will be responsible for providing on-site medical care to large crowds at various events such as concerts, sporting events, and more. You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, maintaining your composure in extremely stressful situations to assess medical situations and perform emergency lifesaving procedures.Responsibilities:Provide pre-hospital patient care as outlined in Region XI CNEMS Standing Medical OrdersRespond to emergency medical situations and provide care that coincides with the Region XI Standing Medical Orders and level of trainingAssess a patient's condition and determine a course of treatmentAdminister medications as outlined in Region XI CNEMS Standing Medical OrdersPerform basic or advanced life support measures as outlined in Region XI CNEMS Standing Medical OrdersRequirements:Illinois Department of Public Health Licensure as a ParamedicCurrent CPR cardMust successfully pass Region XI CNEMS Paramedic System Entry processMust be 18 years of age or olderHigh School Diploma or GEDValid Driver's License with a good driving recordConsent to a criminal background checkAbility to lift/push/pull at least 150+ lbs.Preferred:AHA BLS CPR CertificateIDPH EMT-Paramedic LicenseACLS CertificatePHTLS CertificateITLS CertificateWhat We Offer:On-site continuing educationFamily culture based on open communicationEMS career advisersAbout LifeLine:Driven by care, the LifeLine philosophy permeates far beyond a slogan.
