Responsibilities: This role involves safely and efficiently handling, storing, and moving steel products and raw materials using forklifts, cranes, or other material handling equipment. Responsibilities include organizing and maintaining inventory, conducting regular stock checks, and ensuring steel materials are stored in designated areas. The position also requires preparing products for shipment, including labeling, packaging, and coordinating with shipping teams. Safety is a critical aspect of the job, requiring adherence to protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Additionally, the role involves operating heavy machinery, inspecting incoming materials for quality, and ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Strong communication with team members and supervisors is essential for efficient workflow, and the position also requires maintaining accurate records and performing general warehouse maintenance tasks, such as keeping work areas clean and disposing of scrap materials. The overall goal is to ensure a smooth, safe, and organized flow of materials in the warehouse. Requirements 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Overhead crane experience.
