Automotive Mechanic

RR-NY-MECH #186s Roadrunner Services is seeking a dependable and experienced Automotive Mechanic to work at a local auto auction. We are looking for someone with strong hands-on automotive repair experience who can work efficiently, safely, and independently in a fast-paced environment. Job Scope Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on a variety of vehicles Perform general automotive repairs and maintenance Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical problems Use automotive tools and diagnostic equipment effectively Complete assigned work accurately and efficiently Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Follow established safety procedures and company guidelines Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members Work professionally and respectfully while representing Roadrunner Services Requirements 21+ years old Must have a clean driver’s license Must be able to pass criminal background and drug test Minimum 2 years of verifiable automotive mechanic experience Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical systems and repair procedures Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues Ability to perform general mechanical repairs with minimal supervision Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic Ability to work in a fast-paced auto-auction environment ASE or other mechanic certification is not required Must be authorized to work in the United States Marijuana use or impairment is prohibited while driving or on assignment, regardless of legality or medical authorization Pay Rate: $25 per hour Arrive 15 minutes before scheduled time for check-in and security procedures Work Location: Roadrunner Services at Manheim Auto Auction 375 Weiland Road Rochester, NY 14615 Job type: W2 Status: Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr GetHired, Inc.
