Host Person - Oyster Bar

Job Title

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Smiles, provides exceptional customer service, and always treats guests and coworkers with respect.
• Participate regularly in departmental and company meetings.
• Manages the reservation system, greets and seats guests, sets server rotation, and controls the flow of dining areas.
• Knowledgeable in the products the company serves.
• Understands customer service and execution of standards is what makes this position successful for the company and the team members.
• Sets and keeps restaurant workstations and the surrounding areas properly stocked, clean, safe, and organized.
• Ability to uphold great communication with guest, build rapport, and engage in friendly conversations.
• Communicates all guest service opportunities and product shortages or issues to management.
• Serves food/drink, greats and seats guests, busses, and runs food/drink, does side work, plus any other normal functions required to service our guests under normal operating conditions.
• Follows the company's attendance policy as well as other rules and regulations set forth in the handbook.
• Able to satisfactorily complete assignable work tasks requested by the departmental leaders
• Immediately report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues to the appropriate party
• Ensures the proper steps of service, and our guests needs, are being met.
• Other duties as assigned.

Target Compensation Range:

• $12.00 per hour

Qualifications

Experience:

Preferred: 1 year Host experience in a fast-paced environment, required Food Handler Certification, required High School Diploma/GED, required Must be 21 years of age or older Must have basic mathematical skills Hep A vaccination on, or before, first day of work Must be able to work Weekends, Nights and Holidays Able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written
