Job Title - Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) Location: Louisville, Kentucky Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a highly skilled surgical team at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY. This position is ideal for a compassionate and detail-oriented RN with strong acute care and CVOR experience who is committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a fast-paced surgical Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments according to clinical policies and patient condition Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to ensure quality surgical care Monitor patient responses to treatments and document clinical outcomes accurately Provide patient and family education related to procedures, treatment, and discharge planning Maintain compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies Serve as a mentor/preceptor to nursing staff and support a collaborative team environment Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS Certification ACLS Certification Minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience CVOR experience required Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) Required Skills Acute Care Nursing Patient Assessment Care Plan Development & Implementation Care Plan Evaluation Patient Education Team Collaboration Mentoring & Precepting Quality Improvement Regulatory Compliance Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $60 - $62 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
