Training Specialist (All Levels)

Altasciences seeks a Training Specialist to develop and maintain GLP-compliant training programs in a regulated research environment. The role involves coordinating training activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting departmental operations through documentation and process management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures ensuring FDA GLP and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate training schedules, cross-training activities, and competency assessments across departments
• Maintain training documentation, records, and electronic systems; manage quality control reviews
• Respond to Quality Assurance audits and implement corrective actions related to training
• Monitor training deadlines and milestones; supervise personnel completing training objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or related field, or equivalent laboratory and administrative experience
• Minimum 2 years vivarium experience required
• Minimum 1 year staff training experience required
• 3+ years research or regulated environment experience preferred
• Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency and general computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills
