Senior Systems Engineer - Wireless Charging

Job Description

The Role:

We are seeking a self-driven Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in developing system requirements for user experience-related features specific to Wireless Charging. In this role, you will shape and enhance system behaviors that define the end-to-end user experience across GM vehicle platforms. You will work closely with software, UX, validation, mobile, back-office, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver a seamless, reliable, and intuitive user experience.

What You'll Do:

• Define system and solution requirements, interfaces, states, and performance targets within infotainment andcompute-orientedsystems.

• Participate in the decomposition and allocation of product, feature, and system functionality to software andcomputeplatform teams.

• Collaborate withcross-functionalpartners including software engineering, validation, UX, mobile, and Cloud Services

• Assistin issue triage,root-causeanalysis, and resolution during development and testing phases.

• Support continuous improvement activities and help enhance system robustness and user experience.

• Document system deliverables,maintainrequirement traceability, and support program milestones and readiness reviews.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

• Strong knowledge of systems and software architecture, embedded software development, and testing methodologies.

• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, embedded software, infotainment, ora relateddevelopment domain.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Software, Mechatronics Engineering, ora relatedfield.

• Experience with requirements tools such as DOORS/DNG and Rhapsody (preferred).

• Familiarity with Agile orSAFedevelopment methodologies.

• Understanding ofCI/CD automation and continuous testing strategies.

• Experience withService-OrientedArchitecture (SOA) andBehavior-DrivenDevelopment (BDD).

• Strong analytical andproblem-solvingskills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across global teams and functional areas.

• Demonstrated organizational agility and ability to work effectively incross-functionalenvironments.

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience withModel-BasedSystems Engineering (MBSE) tools and practices (e.g., Rhapsody,SysML, functional modeling, behavioral diagrams).

• Master's Degree in related field.

• Creative use of AI tools and techniques tooptimizetraceability of deliverables and work output.
