In this role, you'll operate a variety of heavy equipment—including excavators, payloaders, and skidsteer—on dynamic marine construction projects. From driving piles to setting stone and constructing piers, you'll be hands‑on in challenging, one‑of‑a‑kind jobs. Projects range from bulkheads and stone revetments to drilling operations and piers—each job brings new challenges and requires real‑time teamwork and problem‑solving. Key Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, payloaders, and skid steers on marine construction sites Perform site prep, load/unload materials, and assist with pile driving, demolition, and installation Assist labor crews with hands‑on tasks when equipment is not in use Maintain equipment safety and cleanliness standards Collaborate with field teams to ensure project timelines and safety goals are met Participate in site safety meetings and follow all OSHA and company guidelines Adapt to changing site conditions and tasks based on project needs Qualifications 4+ years of experience operating heavy equipment (marine construction experience is a plus) Willingness to perform manual labor as needed Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions Ability to work independently and within a team setting Crane operator certification is a plus, but not required Valid driver’s license - required Boat operating experience is a plus Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life and Disability Insurance Paid Time Off – holidays, vacation, and sick leave Weekly pay cycle Retirement savings program Training and certifications Safety equipment provided Company apparel Travel projects with per diem Referral bonus program Company events and team environment Mileage reimbursement Mix of municipal and private clients Schedule Full‑time – Monday to Friday, with opportunity for overtime Location On‑site marine construction projects.
