RN - PACU at Maimonides Medical Center (Brooklyn, NY)

Critical Care post Anesthesia Care Unit Shift: 1900-0730 hours No call, no floating Every other weekend coverage.
Nurse to patient ratio depends on acuity as per ASPAN standards (1:2) 18 bed PACU 23-39 cases a day - Ortho, GYN, Interventional Radiology, Stroke, General Surgery, Urology, etc. Everything other than Organ Transplant 2 plus years in PACU and ICU experience required. Stroke, BLS, ACLS, PALS required

Need Critical care training and too be comfortable with vented patients, A-lines, Chest Tubes, Mid lines, Stroke, Neurosurgery
