Contract Respiratory Therapy (RRT)

Position for a 13-week assignment in or near Toledo, Ohio. The role supports hospital staff in delivering respiratory care across all departments. It offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with hospital staff to assess and deliver respiratory therapy treatments across all departments.
2. Provide ventilator management, airway care, and oxygen therapy under physician orders.
3. Monitor patient responses, adjust treatments accordingly, and maintain documentation in Meditech EMR.
4. Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and post-treatment care.
5. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols during all procedures.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year specializing in hospital respiratory therapy.
• Experience with Meditech EMR system.
• Prior floating experience across hospital departments.
• Ability to work night shifts (7 pm–7:30 am) and flexibility to work every other weekend.

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
