Production Welder

Job Description Job Description PrideStaff is currently seeking a General Production Worker/Spot Welder for a wood/metal manufacturing company located in Rialto, CA. This position is a full-time, temporary position with potential for hire. Please see the job requirements below to be considered. Hourly Pay Rate: $22.00 to $23.00 Shift: Monday – Friday, 8 -12 hours daily - 1st shift 6 am to 2:30 pm (plus mandatory overtime as needed; must be able to work 12 hours daily, including Saturdays) Job summary: Depending on assignment, successful candidates may do any of the following duties: Will be cleaning doors in the production area Material preparation and material handling Staging and packaging finished product for delivery Inspecting and sorting doors. Will need to flip doors throughout the whole shift. Other general warehouse duties as needed In all functions, maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety rules May spot-weld metal doors Preferred Experience/Requirements: Past experience in commercial woodworking is a plus (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc.) Past experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment Some welding experience required (Spot welding or MIG welding highly preferred) General knowledge of building materials Can perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs 8-10 hours daily, as the position requires the flipping of doors and checking for damage. Must have good attention to detail.
