A highly respected and growth-oriented CPA firm in Auburn, WA is seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who values flexibility, quality client work, and a collaborative, low-stress public accounting environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
- Review financial statements, workpapers, and supporting documentation
- Assist with compilations and client accounting projects as needed
- Communicate directly with clients regarding tax planning and compliance matters
- Work closely with leadership on high-level engagements and advisory projects
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong experience preparing complex tax returns
- Review and compilation experience strongly preferred
- UltraTax experience is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
