This opportunity is open for a licensed Pharmacist ready to contribute in a specialized 340B/Specialty Pharmacy setting located in Bronx, NY. The role offers a contract position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm, including a lunch break from 12:30 pm to 1 pm. The contract is expected to continue until a permanent candidate is identified.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive medication support and education to patients to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Overseeing pharmacy operations with a focus on patient safety, professional practice, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Managing pharmacy staff including pharmacists and technicians, identifying knowledge gaps, and implementing education and training programs.
• Ensuring adherence to pharmacy policies and procedures within a specialty and 340B pharmacy environment.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid New York State Pharmacist license is mandatory.
• Experience in pharmacy practice is welcomed at all levels—candidates with varying years of practice are encouraged to apply.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
• Knowledge of 340B program pharmacy operations and specialty pharmacy practices is advantageous.
