Job Title: Dishwasher FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Salary: $11 per hour Status: Part Time, hourly Schedule: per diem Reports to: Camp Fitch Food Service Director

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Camp Fitch, a large resident camp on the shores of Lake Erie, is in need of dishwashers after dinner for groups ranging from 30 - 300 campers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Assist Food Service Manager in the cleaning and storing of dishes.
2. Assist Food Service Manager in the cleaning of the dishwasher and food service areas.
3. Model relationship-building skills (including Listen First) in all interactions. Responds to all participants and community inquiries and complaints in timely manner.
4. Participates in staff meetings and/or related meetings.
5. Models Camp Fitch’s core values: Growth Mindset, Empathy, Servant Leadership, and Vulnerability.
