Occupational Therapist - Inpatient

Currently looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to fill an inpatient opening with a Hospital facility located around the Chico, California area. Interested candidates should have both, previous OT experience, and at least, a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, with a passion to work within an acute care setting. Interested candidate should also have a valid CA OT license, or already have started the process of obtaining it. Very competitive compensation package with $5K sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available!


Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist (OT)

• The Occupational Therapist facilitates development and rehabilitation of patients with mental, emotional, and physical disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy.
• Evaluates results of occupational therapy by observing, noting, and evaluating patient's progress; recommending and implementing adjustments and modifications.
• Mobility to work in a typical clinical environment, stamina to remain standing or sitting for extended periods of time.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist (OT)

• The Acute Care setting is open to graduates from an accredited Occupational Therapy programs. Experience is preferred!
• Active, or eligible to obtain, California Occupational license
