Join the world-renowned Providence Heart Institute of Montana as a per diem board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon. This is a globally recognized joint Surgical/Cardiology practice providing full spectrum diagnostic and therapeutic services. On the campus of Missoula’s Providence St. Patrick Hospital, this institute houses a full-service Structural Heart program. It also actively pursues clinical research and ongoing physician and community educational activities - the centerpiece of which is the annual Rocky Mountain Heart Valve Symposium. • This position is primarily cardiac cases with the option of possible thoracic cases
• Board Certification in Thoracic Surgery required
• Annual case volume of approximately 435 open hearts, 150 thoracic and more than 250 AVR
• Advanced cardiac surgical skills are desired but not required, including complex aortic surgery and mitral valve repair
