Join to apply for the Merchandising Sales Associate role at Tractor Supply Company The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and team members, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed. Communicate proactively with the District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion, issues, and solutions. Complete planograms and resets accurately and timely. Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store-specific measurements. Complete store layout initiatives, cycle counts, and the Tractor Way top cap process. Hang store signage and assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs. Perform recovery and review planogram integrity. Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Understand Needs, Recommend Solutions, Add Value & Appreciate. Ensure a distinguished shopping experience. Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving). Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Prior retail and/or merchandising experience is required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential. Preferred Skills and Abilities Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills. Self-directed with minimal supervision. Working Conditions Primarily indoor with moderate noise; outdoor lots and store areas. Shifts generally no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours. Travel between stores in personal vehicle required. Adherence to safety guidelines. Physical Requirements Ability to travel, lift up to 50 pounds, and push/pull merchandise up to 2000 pounds with equipment. Ability to stand, kneel, reach, climb ladders, and operate store equipment.
