Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)-Float Pool

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Float Pool Commitment Bonus: $10,000 for a two-year commitment of employment. Schedule: 3x 12s, Night Shift 6:30/7:00, rotating weekends. Responsibilities Supervised and delegated by a Registered Nurse, provide direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Contribute to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN. Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication. Document patient care provided. Assist RN with development of plan of care. Assist patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family. Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Participate in performance improvement and continuing education. Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts/units as needed. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Qualifications Education: graduate of accredited LPN program. License: current LPN license in state of practice. Experience: 1-2 years minimum bedside RN experience required.
