Research Instructor / Assistant / Associate / Full Professor, Trauma Surgery Research Job Overview: Full‑time faculty position in the Department of Surgery, Section of General Surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Essential Functions Conduct basic, translational, and clinical research, including investigator‑initiated and industry‑sponsored studies. Mentor residents, fellows, and students in research methods and topics. Coordinate sample collection, storage, processing, and analysis per protocols. Prepare and submit manuscripts for publication and extramural funding proposals. Minimum Requirements PhD in physiology or a related field from a regionally accredited university. Training, experience, and expertise in respiratory care and mechanical ventilation. US citizenship. Additional Considerations Rank will be commensurate with experience; an associate or professor appointment requires an appropriate track record in publications and external grant funding.
