Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors and other co-workers to determine progress of work and completion dates; and reporting on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.Essential FunctionsExamine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes, in order to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specificationsReview documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel & and material requirements, and material prioritiesConfer with employees, vendors, and customers to coordinate production and shipping activities, and to resolve complaints or eliminate delaysRequisition & maintain inventories of material and supplies necessary to meet production demandsRevise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, sales, production, and engineeringSchedule customers daily for installs, repairs, and field estimates.Review daily work orders and or tickets that are turned in by the technicians.Ensure deliveries arrive at the correct time and are unloaded and inspected for damages and or missing itemsOther administrative duties as assigned by managerMinimum QualificationsProficient in Microsoft Products, including but not limited to Excel, Word, and OutlookHigh School Diploma required, Associate Degree preferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of door, frame and hardware applications preferredMust have excellent oral communication skills and positive interpersonal skillsGreat attention to detail requiredEffective time management and organizational skillsSelf-motivated and proactive with ability to multi-taskPhysical DemandsMust be able to stand on feet for several hours at a time and be up and down between a counter work area and a desk. Ability to dive a forklift, ability to lift up to 75 pounds and ability to work in conditioned areas and unconditioned (warehouse) areas.Work EnvironmentWorker is subject to frequent heavy lifting. May require driving to project sites. May be exposed to variable weather conditions.
