Our 1,000+ experts across the US, UK, and beyond are united by science, agility, and a culture that turns ideas into impact—fast.The RoleResponsible for making telephone appointments with prospective research volunteersOther duties include the effective tracking and recording of scheduled outpatient visits by current or prospective research volunteersWork is primarily performed at the Screening OfficeTo comply & adhere to GCP guidelines and regulations as required of this roleTo ensure study data is collected to a high quality in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standardsTo ensure subject safety at all timesMain Tasks and ResponsibilitiesAnswer and distribute all incoming telephone callsAnswer telephone inquiries of potential volunteers in regard to ongoing studiesInitiate telephone calls to prospective research volunteers for inclusion in clinical trialsSchedules research volunteers for screening appointments, clinic visits, follow-up visits and overnight clinic admissions and transportation as neededTracks screening status and notification of prospective research volunteersAssists in screening logistics and distributing copies of informed consent to prospective participantsAssists in maintaining computerized database of research volunteersWork with Senior Volunteer Registration Coordinator to prepare advertising for upcoming studiesProvide administrative support to Volunteer Registration Coordinator when requiredProcess application forms and enter data on to TrialOneTracks response to volunteer recruiting effortsWork with medical team and other staff to assess volunteer suitability for the studiesAssists in obtaining medical records from outside sourcesCopying, faxing and filingPrepares volunteer files, assures all screening forms (study specific) are included and are completed by volunteersObtains subject identification information such as social security card, Florida driver's license, and obtains a complete W-9 etc. and provides two copies of the identifications for the volunteer fileResponsible for the follow-up activities, including but not limited to: contacting missed appointments and rescheduling, confirming appointments scheduled for the following day and preparing subjects file for the next day's workAct as Recruitment Lead on assigned studiesAssists with the other administrative and clerical duties as assignedJob DemandsThe job may involve the following:Very high concentration of workStrict and tight deadlinesHaving to juggle a range of tasks/issues simultaneouslyWorking in a hazardous environment with high requirement to follow safety proceduresWorking outside normal working hoursNeeding to respond to client demandsThe CandidateExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsGood problem solving and organizational skillsExcellent telephone etiquetteAbility to effectively plan and assist with tracking the study volunteersAssociate degree (preferred) or high school graduate with work experienceAbility to coordinate, organize and perform multiple tasksComputer literacy and data entry experienceFluent in English and SpanishPrevious experience in recruiting, interviewing and instructing volunteers
