What You'll Be Doing

• Performing in-depth patient evaluations, arranging necessary diagnostic tests, and developing customized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health concerns alongside physicians or autonomously (depending on credentials)
• Imparting knowledge to patients and their families regarding health maintenance, prevention, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions in accordance with your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and overseeing long-term care strategies
• Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive care

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Washington
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure within 90 days)
