Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaintenance MechanicMBC Companies, a manufacturer and distributor of frozen food products located in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanics on 3rd shift. Experience in the food industry a plus. Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment.ResponsibilitiesRepairs building and processing equipmentPerforms weekend on-call responsibilitiesPerforms critical and routine preventative maintenancePerforms morning set up of equipment so production can have a safe and proper start at the assigned start timePrepares and maintains documentation of parts used and supplies that need to be orderedCommunicates daily workload to the maintenance supervisorPerforms special projects as requiredFollows safe work practices and ensures safety of co-associatesReports any significant problems or issues to supervisorSupplies own basic tools to perform job requirementsPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisor/managerRequirementsHigh school diploma/GED requiredPhysically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassistedEffective oral communication skillsAble to work well with minimal supervisionAbility to prioritize tasks and follow specified proceduresMBC Companies offers competitive wages, comprehensive benefit package and a great work environment.
