Columbus is a vibrant, welcoming city known for its energy, dining, arts, parks, and thriving healthcare community.Job Details\n \n Job Title: PACU Registered Nurse (Travel RN)\n Setting: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)\n Location: Columbus, OH 43210\n Start Date: 10/19/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040\n Shift: Night shift, 19:00 - 07:00\n Shifts per Week: 3\n Shift Duration: 12 hours\n Hours per Week: 36\n Orientation: 36 hours\n Schedule Notes: Weekend and holiday coverage may be required; no call at this time\n Job Requirements\n \n Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission; compact or Ohio RN license accepted\n Minimum of 2 years of PACU nursing experience or related acute care nursing experience\n ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required\n Charting system experience required\n Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients\n Graduate of an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program\n Strong clinical skills in post-anesthesia recovery, pain management, sedation monitoring, and recovery room nursing\n Responsibilities\n \n Provide safe, high-quality post-operative recovery care for patients in the PACU\n Monitor vital signs, airway status, pain levels, and neurologic recovery following anesthesia\n Administer and manage medications, IV therapies, and interventions as clinically indicated\n Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition\n Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams\n Support weekend and holiday coverage as part of the unit schedule\n Document nursing care accurately and maintain a patient-centered approach throughout recovery\n \n Apply now to explore this Columbus, Ohio PACU travel nursing job and join a respected healthcare team today.
