Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B) Location: Hahnville, LA, United States | req28849 Responsibilities Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service. Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up. Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations. Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance. Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs. Continuously build knowledge of how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help the organization grow, plus other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED, with proficiency in reading and writing in English. Minimum 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, along with a valid Class A or B CDL. Age 21 years or older. Currently have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire. No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years. No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years. Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate. Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
