Job Opportunity: Glaucoma Ophthalmologist

Our organization is currently looking for a full-time glaucoma ophthalmologist to join the Department of Ophthalmology. This position is available in collaboration with a local VA hospital. We are seeking candidates who possess a strong academic focus and a dedication to their field. Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing patient care
• Clinical education for medical students and residents
• Engaging in research activities

Department Overview

The Department of Ophthalmology handles approximately 40,000 patient visits annually across various locations. Faculty members provide care at the VA hospital, our main location, and four additional satellite offices. The glaucoma ophthalmologist will primarily see patients at:

• The Loyola Center for Health at Burr Ridge, a comprehensive 104,000 sq ft outpatient facility
• Edward Hines, Jr. Veterans Administration Hospital

Compensation and Benefits

This role comes with a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:

• Starting salary ranging from $159,000 to $985,945
• Compensation based on academic rank and experience
