Executive Administrative Assistant Job ID: 1202 Location: Columbus, OH Job Summary The Executive Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the senior executive team, including heavy calendar management, screen calls and correspondence, coordinate meetings, arrange travel and itineraries, manage events and special projects, and handle confidential information with discretion. Essential Functions Regularly interface independently with high‑level internal and external contacts requiring discretion, initiative, and confidentiality. Adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines while supporting senior executives. Exercise independent judgment, proactively communicate, and work with minimal supervision. Arrange detailed travel plans and itineraries, and compile documents for travel‑related meetings. Screen telephone calls and visitors, and resolve routine and complex inquiries. Plan, coordinate, and assist at various events; arrange logistics for special meetings or events, including hotel reservations, equipment reservations, directions, food, refreshments, meeting spaces, and parking as needed. Coordinate special projects as directed. Specific Job Skills Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Flexible, energetic, self‑motivated, quick‑thinking, and able to juggle multiple responsibilities. Comfortable working both as part of a team and independently, with minimal supervision. Ability to work on self‑directed projects and set processes. Self‑starter who is detail oriented. Handle multiple tasks and support special project needs. Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen. Exceptional organizational and planning skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Critical thinking skills and ability to anticipate needs. Education N/A Experience Minimum of seven (7) years of experience supporting or serving as an executive assistant to a Chief Executive Officer and other senior executives. Supervision N/A Certifications N/A Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of internal and external sources. Physical Capabilities Standard categories. The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift or move up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
