Senior Accountant

Smaller, well-established industrial company, privately owned, has a new permanent opportunity for a Senior Accountant. Position reports to the CFO with lots of opportunity to learn, take on more, grow. The Senior Accountant will support senior leadership on a broad range of accounting and finance work including day to day accounting operations, financial/management reporting, ME close, and AP. 40-hour work week, flexible family culture, flexible hours with healthcare, dental, vision, 401k, STD/LTD and additional benefits. Approximate Salary: 70,000-90,000 per year + Bonus - Depending on experience Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant Day to day operational accounting, assist with the close process, prepare reconciliations and closing entries Assist with preparation of monthly financial/managerial statements Accounts Payable Assist in overseeing, developing, and ensuring compliance for accounting procedures and internal controls Providing support, completing special projects and providing ad-hoc reports to management Assist with ERP implementation Experience for the Senior Accountant Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business or related General accounting experience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial, products or related ideal Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel ERP systems experience/interest in technology About the Company / Senior Accountant Opportunity Family type, 40-hour week Support CFO directly, great opportunity to learn, take on more Will gain a lot of broad exposure to accounting/finance, will wear many hats Individual will have the opportunity to really make an impact on/in the business and be well recognized Healthcare, dental, vision, 401k, STD/LTD #J-18808-Ljbffr
