Schedule/Hours:

• Contract-based assignment
• Full-time, rotating shifts may be required depending on patient needs

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year experience in med-surg oncology nursing
• Current BLS certification (additional oncology certifications preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
• Compassionate approach to patient advocacy and family education

Responsibilities:

• Deliver holistic nursing care to oncology patients, including assessment, medication administration, and monitoring
• Implement personalized care plans in collaboration with physicians and oncologists
• Support patients undergoing chemotherapy and other complex treatments
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and home care needs
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to all infection control protocols
• Respond swiftly to changes in patient status and intervene appropriately
• Provide emotional support and encouragement throughout each patient's treatment journey
