Emergency Room Nurse

Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room setting, ensuring rapid assessment, intervention, and management of acute health issues. Oversees and supervises nursing staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients upon arrival, collecting relevant health data swiftly and accurately.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs and clinical outcomes.
• Coordinate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Supervise and delegate responsibilities to nursing staff, ensuring optimal team performance.
• Participate in emergency procedures and support patient stabilization efforts.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Have a minimum of two years recent experience in emergency or acute care.
• Hold current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and decision-making skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
