Pulmonology - PhysicianAstrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Pulmonologist for a temporary assignment in Ketchikan, Alaska. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.Responsibilities for a Pulmonologist:Provide outpatient pulmonary care services to adult and geriatric patient populationsSee an average of 14-16 patients per day in a clinic settingWork an 8-hour shift schedule, 8am-5pm Monday-FridayBegin assignment working 1 week per month, transitioning to 1 week every other month or quarterPractice in an outpatient clinic environment with no call, rounding, or admission responsibilitiesWork independently as a solo pulmonologist, with family medicine, orthopedics, general surgery, OB/GYN, and pediatrics available Monday-Friday, and 24/7 hospitalist and ED physicians on siteMaintain active Alaska (AK) medical license prior to start of assignmentMaintain current BLS certification from AHA or American Red CrossUtilize Epic EMR system proficiently for clinical documentationProvide documentation of cardiovascular disease services representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested within the previous 24 monthsComply with COVID-19 vaccine requirement (no exemptions)Adhere to all applicable credentialing, privileging, and compliance requirementsBenefits for a Pulmonologist:Weekly pay every FridayComprehensive Professional Malpractice Insurance24/7 Recruitment SupportFull-service Credentialing and Corporate Travel TeamReferral Bonus up to $5,000
