Program Manager

This role involves leading complex software development initiatives and driving program execution across cross-functional teams. The Program Manager will oversee project planning, risk management, stakeholder communication, dependency tracking, and delivery execution while ensuring alignment with business objectives and software development best practices. Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and software delivery processes. Experience managing cross-functional programs involving engineering, product, and business stakeholders. Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools. Experience creating project plans, communication plans, status reporting, RAID logs, RACI matrices, and other program governance artifacts. Demonstrated success managing project schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and executive communications. Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions and drive outcomes. Preferred experience supporting content management, metadata systems, rights management, or related software platforms. What the responsibilities are of the right candidate: Lead program planning and execution for software development initiatives, ensuring delivery aligns with business objectives, timelines, and quality expectations. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, communication plans, RAID logs, RACI matrices, and status reports. Identify, track, and manage program risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers while driving mitigation and resolution efforts. Establish reporting frameworks and dashboards that provide visibility into program health, progress, risks, and opportunities. Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align priorities, scope, timelines, and resource needs. Facilitate project reviews, leadership updates, executive status meetings, and program syncs. Communicate project progress, delivery commitments, risks, and schedule updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Drive accountability across teams and ensure commitments, milestones, and deliverables are met. Partner with software engineering teams to support successful delivery and execution of strategic initiatives.
