Chemical Technician

Are you looking for a career in the Chemistry Laboratory field with a stable and growing Company?  A leading Contact Lens Company in Johns Creek is looking for a Chemical Technician. As a Chemical Technician you are responsible for the daily preparation of batch chemicals as required by production demands and schedules. Ensure quality materials are produced in a safe and efficient manor. Create and maintain material production, and analytical inventories as applicable.  This is a rotating 12 hour shift - 6:30am to 6:30pm. One week you will work Monday, Thursday and Friday. The second week you will work Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.   

salary: $18 - $19 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily preparation of batch chemicals as required by production demands and schedules. Ensure quality materials are produced in a safe and efficient manor. Create and maintain material production, and analytical inventories as applicable. 

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 30lbs
• standing for 6 hours at one time
• working weekends
