Sr. Accountant

Senior Accountant Location: Bristol, Indiana (Fully Onsite) Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000 annually Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and analytical Senior Accountant to join our team in Bristol, Indiana. This fully onsite position is ideal for an accounting professional with a strong audit background who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys digging into financial data, improving processes, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, a strong desire to learn and grow, and the ability to collaborate effectively across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Prepare monthly financial reports, analyses, and forecasts to support operational and business planning decisions. Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable recommendations to management. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis projects. Support internal and external audit activities and help strengthen internal controls and financial processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of accounting experience with a background in public accounting or audit preferred. Strong understanding of month-end close processes, financial reporting, and forecasting. Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
