Merchant Consultant - Bilingual in Spanish Universal Processing LLC (uP) – Arcadia, CA Compensation: Exempt position; $4,500/month during probation, increasing to $5,000/month upon successful completion. Role Summary: First point of contact for clients, serving as brand ambassador and introducing business solutions. Responsibilities Generate leads through cold calls and prospect potential clients. Conduct in-person meetings to assess customer needs and present customized payment, merchant financing, and marketing solutions. Perform pricing analysis using clients’ payment processing statements and initiate proposals. Follow up with potential merchants reviewing product features, benefits, and terms. Close sales in a timely and effective manner. Develop and maintain new lead sources, including referrals and affiliates. Expand sales opportunities within the existing client base. Create and develop marketing programs to increase sales. Qualifications Authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify employer). Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required. High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred. 2–3 years of sales and/or customer service experience. Experience in the Merchant Services industry a plus. Strong communication, critical thinking, attention to detail, and analytical skills. Self‑motivated, results‑driven, able to work independently.
