Job Title

OB Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (Level 3)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Shifts, 4 Days Per Week | Rotating Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients across high, moderate, and low-risk classifications within a labor and delivery setting
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and patient- and family-centered care
• Prioritize and problem-solve effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Demonstrate strong communication skills when interacting with patients, families, and care team members
• Maintain competency across multiple modes of care and delivery within the OB service line
• Float among OB/GYN units as needed to meet variable volume and acuity demands

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License (NY licensure required)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in OB triage and/or operating room (OR) settings
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-acuity obstetric patients across multiple care environments
