Accountant

Experienced AccountantWe are seeking an experienced Accountant to join a close-knit accounting team. This role will take ownership of key accounts receivable and billing functions, including monthly invoicing and check processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and hands-on experience with Viewpoint ProContractor.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage accounts receivable activitiesPrepare and process monthly customer invoicingProcess checks and accurately record paymentsMaintain accurate and up-to-date AR and billing recordsResearch and resolve billing and payment discrepanciesMonitor outstanding receivables and support timely collection effortsReconcile AR-related accounts and assist with month-end activitiesEnsure accuracy and consistency across billing and payment processesCollaborate with other members of the accounting team and provide support as neededRequirements5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on accounts receivable and billingViewpoint ProContractor software experienceStrong understanding of accounts receivable, invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliationExcellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracyStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to independently manage responsibilities and prioritize deadlinesComfortable working in a small, collaborative accounting team
