Job Title Senior Data Engineer (Spark/Java/Flink) Location Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite) Duration Long-Term Contract Employment Type W2 Only Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Kafka, and ETL development for a long-term contract opportunity in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and building scalable real-time data processing, streaming, and integration solutions in distributed data environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and real-time streaming applications. Build and optimize large-scale ETL and data integration solutions. Develop streaming applications using Apache Flink and Kafka. Work with distributed systems and big data technologies to process high-volume datasets efficiently. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data architects, analysts, and application developers. Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and ensure data reliability and scalability. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with Java and Apache Spark. Experience with Apache Flink and Kafka for real-time streaming and integration. Solid experience in ETL development and large-scale data processing. Good understanding of distributed systems and big data technologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in enterprise-level data engineering environments. Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern data architecture concepts is a plus.
